Mortal Shell 2 Fast Travel and All 49 Beacons
Understand Beacon cleansing, the 46-count tracker and how fast travel connects discovered Mortal Shell 2 regions.
Read the 49 versus 46 count
There are 49 listed Beacon locations, but only 46 cleansing objectives because Marrowkeep, Widow’s Overlook and Outskirts of Mammon begin active. The tracker is therefore an objective count, not a count of every Beacon-shaped location.
Cleanse before marking complete
Enter the Beacon mini-dungeon, clear the required enemies or miniboss and claim the Ova at the end. The local map state should be marked only after that reward is collected; visibility alone does not unlock fast travel.
Use Beacons as recovery anchors
A cleansed Beacon joins the travel list and shortens the next return trip. Activate hubs first, then cleanse the Beacon closest to the next Shell, weapon or Tarforge branch so a failed attempt does not cost the entire route.
Recover missed opening loot
Fast travel can return you to the opening Beacon chest if the Muradean Actuator was skipped. It does not reveal or cleanse undiscovered Beacons, so use the map fragment and marker layers to find the next unknown stop.
